Prayer at RLF

This is not just a part of what we do, it is what we strive to incorporate into every corner of both our individual and communal lives. Our understanding is simple; how can we do ministry unless we are in constant conversation with God, laying our whole life before him and waiting to hear him speak into and fill us as empty vessels? With this mind-set, every week we journey in prayer together through a few different avenues.

First, every Wednesday evening during the school year, we gather as a community to pray at the Savoring God Prayer Gathering. Everyone is encouraged to come. This is a time to bring our requests, hopes, fears, and praises to God as a community. This is the most important thing we do all week. We meet at Midtown @ 7:00pm. Contact the office for more details.

Second, we have a prayer chain that keeps us connected during the week. The prayer chain is for all prayer requests brought forward concerning the people of our community, people connected to people to our community, people not connected to people in our community...you get the idea. If God has laid something on your heart to bring to the community in prayer, please contact Joey (prayer@rlfonline), our prayer chain communicator, and she will contact the community. If you are not on the prayer chain, contact her and request to be added.

Third, please take what is presented at the Savoring God Prayer Gathering and the prayer chain, and make prayer a habit in the life of your family, friendships, and personal time of devotion.
